Have had many topics surrounding my head today, like: sexual politics, facebook privacy, mouse traps, questions like why someone would leave anal beads in a closet when they move out.. just regular stuff really. In the end I decided to go with
My dear friend /sister/ house mate MÄRTA lent me The Social Network the other day. Hadn't seen it before and I managed to watch it twice during the same day. I thought it was brilliant. Even though I have to confess that I was facebooking during the movie. (both times)
I was surprised to see how the actors were spot on their lines with a ironic-cryptic twists here and there. I know it is a movie and that you shouldn't be naive and think that everything actually went down exactly like that, but I still LIKE the fact that the movie was more about friendship and the power of knowledge then success and money. Of course they wanted to be successful but it was more to make a difference than to actually make money. Actually THE main point was to get laid..

I am the first one to state that I couldn't live without my facebook. It is without a doubt the best way for me to communicate and stay in contact with the people I care about on a day to day basic. I <3 my facebook. please sense irony I even created a facebook account for my mother so we would communicate more.. it took her six months before she realize the benefits of having facebook, and now she is hooked like the rest of us in the wave.
Kind of over powering to know that over 500 million people all around the world are actively using Facebook to stay connected with their family and friends (plus all the rest that you have on limited profile and have no clue at all who they are)
Not denying or forgetting the fact that facebook are creating a lot of abnormal behavior! Some people can get weird or freaky while others get to be paranoid stalkers. And then we have the silent spys that knows everything about everyone but never sends a beep :The sneakers.. and dont get me started on people with multiple accounts. What is that about?
Today, I would much rather give away my phone number to someone than accepting them on facebook.
AMAZINGLY IMPRESSIVE how facebook in the amount of 5 years has become a such an important daily human routine.
How many time do you watch your facebook page a day? Why do you feel happiness when you see a little red spot with a little number on it? What happend to the mystery of getting to know a person in actual person? Why are we asuming that it is something wrong with a person without a facebook account?
just some thoughts.
thank the devil for facebook and god for limited profile!
